Fivescore years ago, the Final War came to a close and the flames left alight by the end of the Mutant War were finally doused. Countless lives were lost, countries disappeared, and eventually even our morals as humans were altered on the line of fire. What we have left appears to be merely an empty shell of what the earth once was, simply a burnt out husk. I see something more.
I wish to show you my dream. For I do indeed have a dream for this charred earth, and it is one that I can only achieve with your aid. By asking me, Mason Amherst - just another man with dreams too big for one person -, to lead you and your future generations to a life so much brighter than ashes can give is humbling. My dream has become our dream, and we will see a day where no ashes, no fires, and no visible piece of this planet's tragic past is present on earth. I choose to start here, here in Canada with you and create something unimaginable in our war-wrecked world.
We will rise from the ashes; humanity has waited too long for our time to come about once again. We will see the end of mutant terrorism and see a day where their place remains beneath us. Their power is too great, and this power will be controlled to tame their savage minds. Let us march ahead together, united under one banner, and make this dream a reality!
We cannot walk alone. And as we walk, we must pledge that we will always march ahead towards our future. We cannot turn back.
I, Mason Amherst, dictator of Canada, pledge to the people to realize this dream and reignite our spirits, hopes, and the dreams of those who come after is. Our legacy will live on, our hardships will be remembered, and what we achieved will be penned into history.
Free! Free at last! Let all Canadians, foreigners, and all who ever step on this patch of earth know they have stepped into a dream which was realized.
Welcome to Canada, welcome to my dream, welcome to our reality.
