Puers' Plot Thread

(Finally some time to actually create a plot thread! )

Position: Noble, contestant for throne

So yes, it's the Egyptian noble, the cousin of the royal family, the ambitious man vying for the throne of Egypt himself, Puer! I suppose every little plotting thread must begin with a brief summary, (at least mine always do), and so here it is.

Puer is overall a man of Egypt. He would do anything to protect the land of sand and sun that he loves, and the people that inhabit it and live under the kingdoms banner. He also holds the traditions and culture of the Egyptians highly, worshiping the gods with fervor and despising any move of change. As a noble he is prideful, arrogant, and enjoys showing others his wealth and power, but he's also distinguished himself through military service to be brave and strong willed in confrontation. He's also a master politician, being both cunning and charismatic to those he encounters. Finally, he's ambitious, always striving to improve himself, and at times merciless and dark, not caring how he achieves what he desires, or who suffers as a result.

So, now to the actual plotting. I really have nothing so far in mind for Puer, except for of course his attempt at claiming the throne of Egypt and usurping the current royal family. As of now he's simply trying to gather followers around him and to plan out his moves as to how he's going to accomplish this, and isn't knocking on the palaces front door quite yet. So of course anyone interested in plots pertaining to this major site plot I'd love to hear ideas or suggestions, (or even promises of support! xD), but if you have any plots ideas, whether about the one mentioned above or not, I'd be happy to hear all of them! Below I'm just going to post some rough ideas of character relations possible, (really generic), but really, feel free to suggest anything, and I'll take a look!

[Alcaeus]

Alcaeus is kind of, neutral on this topic. His army in the south would make him a man wanted on your side, i would presume.

[Puer]

Puer would definitely try and win Alcaeus' favor and support, especially if things eventually grew to the point of full on rebellion. Having an army, especially the entire Southern Army, would be something the noble would turn a keen eye towards if it was a possibility. Also, it is a possibility Alcaeus would know or even have met Puer when the man was within the military, and since I haven't "officially" decided yet, (history is something I still have to do), he could have very well served within the Southern Egyptian Army. Just a thought though, I'm not sure how you wanted to go about this.

[Nebet]

Nebet would not like him, which is rare, so she would see him as an enemy, even if he is her cousin.

[Puer]

Makes sense, especially since Nebet is so close to Nailah, who Puer is trying to usurp. Puer also has a small vendetta against the entire royal family, so he wouldn't see Nebet in very friendly terms either, though being the youngest of the daughters he would likely show the least amount of such hate in front of her.

[Isis]

Isis is going to be siding with Puer (for the time being at least XD)~

I'm not sure if you want them to meet or not, but Isis is content to work from the background and tweak things from afar though she'd be happy to help hash things out face to face as well~

[Darius]

Okay! So this is interesting!

Dairus is one of your allies. He grew up as a noble, and spent a lot of time in the palace. He was close to the Pharaoh, and now is helping out the queen and being generally nice to everyone else. However, the secret is that Darius actually doesn't want Nailah to be queen, despite the fact that he has nothing against her personally. But like Puer, Darius is protecting Egypt and thinks that Nailah is too weak to do it. He's also not a fan of a teenage girl ruling Egypt.

But the thing is, Darius and Puer have never met. Darius knows about Puer, and thinks he seems to be best for the position. He has a lot of money and resources. So Darius would probably want to visit Puer in secret to get to know him and stuff, probably under the guise and being a spy for the royals. Or, if Darius thinks Puer won't be real, he'd send a servant or perhaps his sister to determine Puer's character.
