Now it's my time
I'll do what I want 'cause this is my life

Now I know what I believe inside
Now it's my time

THE SKY WAS BURNING UP LIKE FIREWORKS
you made me want you oh so bad it hurts
you made me want you oh so bad it hurts
body type: Though not overly bulky or muscled, Puer still holds the body from his time in the military, and his own diligence at physical fitness has also helped him keep his physique. He is well muscular, not excessively, but possessing well built and maintained limbs and body, holding a more lean frame and being of a rather tall height. He carries the endurance and prowess of a soldier, not the frailness of a scribe, and holds a figure that reflects this.
hair and eyes: His hair is naturally a dark black in color, but his head and body are shaved as is custom. His eyes are a light brown.
clothing style: True to his haughty nature, Puer dresses rather finely and richly. As is custom of Egyptian nobility, he typically wears a white kilt-like linen garment around his waist, covering the upper part of his legs down to the tops of his knees. Fastening the garment to his body is a belt made of gold and inlaid with decorative stones. Around his neck and covering the very top of his body is a collar made of copper on which are painted motifs and patterns with rich dyes and etched and inlaid with gold. On each of his arms he wears a bracer and on his legs he wears a pair of anklets, all gold with vivid colors and several precious stones inlaid into each. Atop his head Puer will occasionally wear a headdress which features a circlet made of gold with a carved cobras head on the front, and from which extends linen to cover his head and most of his neck, for both appearance and to ward off the intense Egyptian sun. Finally, around his neck and above his collar Puer wears an amulet of solid gold, the most revered part of his appearance. The amulet is inlaid with several precious stones and features etched motifs, but on its surface the most noticeable detail is a carving of the god Horus, the Egyptian god which Puer has taken as his patron and the god he reveres the most. Overall, Puer has spared no expense in his appearance, both to earn respect from those around him, as well as to flaunt the wealth he commands as a noble in Egypt’s society.
overall appearance: Puer to some may appear as an intimidating figure. Standing at a rather tall height of five feet and ten inches, as well as possessing a well built and maintained body; odd compared to some of the more scribe oriented nobles of Egyptian society, the noble can sometimes seem more of a soldier than what he truly is. Almost as if it’s directly stemming from his fierce character, Puer’s appearance has a commanding presence, and is prone to attracting attention, especially given his dress style. The noble dresses richly and with great extravagance, his amount of gold on figure drawing many an eye when he appears within public, and his typical clothing is as much a symbol of his position as an attempt to command respect and admiration from those around him. Both a cause of his position as noble and his belief of his superiority, Puer believes deeply in the cleanliness of one’s body and to always maintain one’s figure to its highest degree. Because of this it is typical to find the man, if he has the means at least, to be spotless, his white linen bleached brightly and his body clean of any of his natural black hair or dirt and grime. Overall, Puer’s appearance is a direct sign of his rank in Egyptian society as well as many of the traits he holds within his personality. [/ul]

habits:
-Extravagance: Perhaps not so much a habit as a lifestyle, Puer is not one to hide his status as a noble. He flaunts his wealth in any way he can, whether it be his rich dress, his frequent and colorful feasts, or simply the, at least in the eyes of a commoner, unlimited wealth which he can throw at almost anything. He's a noble, and he lives as, in his eyes, one should, displaying his influence and gold to his fellow nobles to earn their respect, and to the commoners to let them know who's their better. Definitely not a saver of wealth, Puer is a man of coin and a high lifestyle.
secrets:
-Throne of Egypt: Perhaps becoming less and less of a secret each day, it is true that Puer has ambition to overthrow the recently deceased Pharaohs' family from the throne, and assume it himself as the "rightful" ruler of Egypt. How he does so is yet to be determined, but it is the goal he currently strives for and holds in his mind, his intentions hidden from those around him, though perhaps being intentions that many can guess.
-Revenge: Though motivated by ambition, Puer is also motivated by a sense of revenge in his attempt to take the throne of Egypt. He has hated the Pharaoh and his family since his mothers exile, and has sworn to repay them for what they did to his mother and consequently his family. Heralding his position as the best for Egypt, Puer also has plans, once assuming the throne, of using his power to make the surviving members of the Pharaohs family suffer, and to make sure they know of the mistake their father made when he insulted Puer's family.
-Scorpions: Ever since his childhood, Puer has attained a fear of scorpions. Even being knowingly around or near one of the "loathsome" creatures is enough to get the noble uneasy and skittish, and any contact is definitely a no-no to the man. This is a secret he keeps close, both because it could be used against him, as well as the rather embarrassing truth of it.
personality:
At first glance, Puer can seem almost how an Egyptian noble is supposed to be, or at least the “stereotypical” way one of such status should act. One of the first things one might hear said about Puer is that he’s an Egyptian through and through, being highly loyal and devoted to the great kingdom he grew up in. In his mind Egypt is the greatest of all kingdoms and the greatest of all people, and that it is but a matter of time before the world submits to their rule. Egypt should be the strongest, wield the most influence, and be flowing with rivers of grain and gold, and Puer wishes for nothing less than such to happen, whether on its own, or through his actions. He despises other people who are not Egyptian, and hates those who would seek to hinder or harm Egypt, and he would do anything for the kingdom. That doesn’t mean however that all those within Egypt are “equal”. It’s also clear that Puer is a quite prideful and arrogant man. He takes insults and mockery harshly, and due to his pride he sees himself as a “true” man of Egypt, though he won’t say it as such, a position he sees as a step below that of the Gods. Not only does his prideful nature elevate his own view of his self, his arrogance also means he lets other around him know how he feels and thinks. Though he does share respect towards most of the other nobles and Egyptians of high class, he sneers down upon the lower classes of society, and won’t hesitate to show how better he is to the commoners and slaves. But even to other nobles, Puer gives of an aura of superiority, and his mindset is such. He is a true Egyptian, loyal to the kingdom, and with the qualities of the God and Goddesses themselves, and others should show the noble the proper respect as a result.
Even though one might expect such at this point, Puer is not a weak and spoiled noble, at least not weak. As evident from his brief service in the Egyptian military, the noble is a brave and courageous figure, both as a soldier, and as a noble figurehead in society. He won’t shy away from a challenge, and few things can easily bring fear into the man’s heart and cause him to cower in terror. Puer is also extremely strong willed, not one to turn off course or cut short a vision, rather instead pursuing what he wants with diligence and a determination hard pressed to wane. Once his mind is set to something, Puer is not easily convinced to stop his actions, even to the point of sheer stubbornness. And it’s likely that the noble will attain what he strives for, for the fact that he carries a cunning mind. The man is swift with his wit and his words, able to weave intricate plans and thoughts of action quickly and efficiently. Friends remark of his prowess in games and plays of wit, and his enemies recall the frightening extent of his prowess in strategy and the snares of thought he can set. And what he can’t achieve through plan he might be able to achieve through word and charm. Puer is a charismatic person, a man of roaring speeches, hope lifting battle cries, and mind calming whispers. With the tongue of a viper and the wit to go with it, as a leader the noble has defined himself as a valuable asset as a friend, and a dangerous adversary as an enemy.
But if diplomacy or persuasion are not enough, Puer is a man that can resort to violence and action if need be. Though hailed as a powerful leader and a proud soldier from his brief military time, the noble was also known for the occasional brutality he had shown while in his service. Mostly to foreigners and enemies of Egypt, but on occasion to the very people he sees as highest in the land, Puer has made a name for himself as a merciless and unforgiving enemy. He won’t hesitate to cause harm, whether physical or mental, to someone he has pinned as an adversary, and though perhaps effective, the acts of occasional torture and cruelty he showed to those he defeated as a soldier are something of both legend and fear in the tales of the Egyptian army. Not only will he have no qualms with the methods he uses, coupled with his pride, Puer is not one to easily forget a grudge, insult, or claim of rivalry. He won’t stop until his enemies are either defeated or repaid in kind, and how he does so has the potential to either be honorable, or far, very far, from it. Perhaps not a fact that is as well known as his brutal actions, Puer can also be a deceiving person. Especially with the charisma he can display, the noble is one to tell you what you want to hear, and while shaking your hand, slowly put a dagger in your back, still smiling as he does so. He does not fear to lie or cheat others, and while he does not do so commonly and not of simple act, when it comes to the games of Egyptian politics and war, Puer is one snake that few can be sure of where his intentions and loyalties lie.
There are two final points that define Puer. One is the high light he places on tradition and age old culture. Puer is a man of little change, such a thing displeasing him if occurring, and see’s the old ways of the Egyptian kingdom as the key to the kingdoms future. Not only a strict follower of tradition however, surprisingly, given his slight dishonorable disposition, Puer is a pious and devote man to the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses. Though he has taken Horus as his chief deity, and worships him the highest, the noble respects all of the holy beings, both as part of Egypt’s proud culture and tradition, but also as figures who define its future. He holds deep admiration for the power and splendor they command, and is one to frequent a temple more so than a brewery. And last but especially not least, though a trait that is more hidden than displayed, though some might easily recognize him as such, Puer is a highly ambitious man. Though as a powerful noble he holds great power and wealth, it is never enough for the man, and he constantly strives for more. Not only does he wish to elevate his own self, he wants other to marvel at his progress and status, and renown and respect are two feelings that drive his ambition. Puer is a man who will see something he wants, whether small or large, and will pursue it to further himself, and will use whatever means necessary to achieve his vision and dream.
