Recent News & Activities:
- Set has sided with Nailah for ruler, perhaps only because the majority are more prone to siding with a man like Puer. The idea of a female as head of Egypt - especially one so young - intrigues him.

- Amonsef has caught his eye, what with his trouble-making and unusual hair. It's likely Set may make some deals with the marauder in the future… Probably under the radar of other gods.

- While basking as a crocodile one afternoon by the Nile, Set lay eyes on a certain redheaded foreigner with a fondness for crocodiles, much to the god's delight.

- The god has appeared in the palace gardens to meet with Princess Nailah regarding her potential future on the throne. He seems to have a carefully formulated plan to win her Egypt's support.

Plotting:
- Obviously he hasn't many relations with anyone yet, lol. So I'm up for anything. Post here and we'll brainstorm away~!

- I'd be most interested in finding him a plaything or two. :D Being god of chaos with a fondness for all things strange and unusual, anyone out of the norm who might catch his eye he'll want to convert to his side, haha. Foreigners especially~

- Set's been hunting for allies in all classes of Egyptian citizens. In particular, he's still looking for a palace guard to 'befriend'... though perhaps only for his own uses, whatever those may be.

Hrmm...Barates might be able to serve as a plaything/something to torment for him~ He's a foreigner, so that's something~ :'D

They are clearly destined to be best friends. |D

Undoubtedly Set will want to befriend Barates, and probably end up using him to try to tip the scales in Nailah's favor, too, if he's so good for information.

How should they meet? O:

Indeed- as red heads they are both clearly destined to the best of of friends-particularly since Barates is a moron and doesn't really notice when people are manipulating him~ :'D

As for how they meet, let's see....Barates is in the Palace a lot (considering he's a slave, its kinda guaranteed he'll be somewhere there~) or he's sneaking into town to hear speak to a Greek trader. Other than that Barates sometimes sneaks to the Nile to gawk at crocodiles, so there would have to be one of those places....hrmm....

Palace Scenario:
-Seth keeping an eye on Nailah
-sees Barates around
-gets intrigued

Town Scenario:
-Seth sees Barates walking, likes the hair, notices he's a foreigner and then sees the brand on his back showing that Bara is a slave.
-Likes the idea of causing chaos and decides to say aloha

Nile Scenario:
-Same as town scenario except he also sees Barates muttering hateful words towards hippos and fanboying over watching crocodiles

Hmm~ The palace isn't a bad idea, but to catch him more out of his comfort zone out at the Nile would be fun. o: Set is god of a lot of animals considered "distasteful", such as crocodiles - so he could be chillin' in crocodile form, and spy Barates goggling at him. x3 Spot the red hair, yada yada, and decide to introduce himself more properly, lol.

Since Set is on Nailahs side, then Nebet would see him as an ally as well. We should thread the two and see how it goes.

Haha, if you like. The timid type tend to get on Set's nerves though~ xD In what kind of context should they meet..?

Well one of three places could work
The town square - Nebet comes to play her harp and lament her father and runs into him
The Nile - Nebet comes down to the Nile and draw some of the ships and runs into him there
The Oasis- Nebet gets permission to go to the Oasis and draw some of the animals out there and he shows

Hmm~ I think I like the last one at the Oasis, because I had it in my mind to have Set pop up there anyways. n_n Being the god of the desert, he's also the god of oases apparently~

Hmm hmm hmmmm. Set has a plan to boost Nailah's popularity... I am brainstorming how that could involve Bhae~

He's interested in Amonsef, so if he were to find out the marauder hangs out with Bhae, he'd get pretty excited lol. So besides figuring that out through talking to her, her and Amonsef would have to hang out more for Set to notice I think.

Hmnnn...idk about that first one. That would definitely be hard to mesh, I think XD but more power to you if you can figure out a way to do it.

Also, that's a good point. We already know Bhae is absurdly accommodating. It's fairly likely that if Amonsef needed someone to run errands during the day when he is usually lying low, she'd be willing to do that...which, obviously, would mean they'd run into each other more often.
